The Town Council of Awendaw, South Carolina, will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Town Hall located at 6971 Doar Road, Awendaw, SC 29429, on the following ordinance:
  • Ordinance 2025-04: An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 32, Boards and Commissions, and Chapter 154, Town Municipal Park, Subsection 154.010, Municipal Park Board; to Include Provisions Requiring all Boards and Commissions to Convene at the Next Regular Meeting to Approve the Minutes from the Previous Meeting.​
  • Ordinance 2025-08: An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 30, General Provisions, Subsection 30.040, Regular Meetings, to Move the Regular Meeting Time from 7:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Anyone who desires to submit written comments may mail them to (PO Box 520), on the town’s website (click the ordinance titles), or email them to the Town Administrator, Katharine Watkins ([email protected]).
A copy of the draft ordinance is available for viewing at Town Hall during regular business hours (Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) or on the website.
