Council Member Bryan McNeal Jr.

Bryan McNeal, Jr. has served several terms on Town Council having been first elected in February 2003. A lifelong resident of Awendaw, he serves as the Chairperson for the Blue Crab Festival Committee. Mr. McNeal attended Lincoln High School and Cupton-Jones College of Funeral Services and is a South Carolina licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Mr. McNeal is the owner of and has worked for over twenty years at W.M. Smith-McNeal Funeral Home. Prior to this occupation, he served as a Library Aide at St. Francis Xavier Hospital. Mr. McNeal is a member of Greater Zion AME Church and serves on their Board of Trustees.
