Gregory D. Saxton
Gregory Saxton, CMC, is a 2007 graduate and alumni from the College of Charleston. Gregory received his bachelor's degree in Political Science and Theater and a minor in Latin. Born in Brooklyn, New York, and now lives in the Lowcountry area. Gregory started working for the Town in June of 2010. In 2013 Gregory graduated from the Municipal Clerk Training Institute (MTCI) from the Municipal Association of South Carolina. Since then Gregory has become involved with the MASC and with IIMC (International Institute of Municipal Clerks) Gregory is currently working on is Certified Municipal Clerk Certification and then will seek is Master Municipal Clerk Certification. Gregory also has serves on the Municipal Finance Officers Treasurers Clerks Association where he currently is the President of the Board. Gregory also is the chief editor of the Awendaw Newsletter, serves on the Blue Crab Board of Directors, and other capacities at the Town Hall. In his spare time, Gregory enjoys cooking, traveling to unusual places, photography, dancing, and so much more. Gregory also is an ordained Elder and Minister at Kingdom City Church in Summerville.
